An encounter? Empty
PostSubject: An encounter?   An encounter? EmptyFri Jan 30, 2009 11:59 am

I really don't know what to make of this. I can feel my heart pounding faster by the minute, and all I can think is, am I going crazy?
I was in my garden with my dog, when suddenly I see what appear to be fireflies darting around, they were fast, and they were bright. I didn't think much of it at first, other than the thought that it was strange to see fireflies in the country- Though I had seen some previously while on holiday- let alone in the winter. They circled around me briefly, and it was then that I had the sense to pull out my phone and snap a picture with the built in camera. The result is this; a grainy, poor quality image, but it was enough to scare me senseless.

I swear to you, I'm not making this up. A few seconds after I took this image, the two bright lights disappeared into the forest which is behind my house. I would have chased after them if I had any way of getting through there. Short of climbing the fence, which I don't think I'm in any shape to do, there's no access.
Please, tell me what this is- am I really going mad?

Well its hard to say, no offence, yet i have had problems with people "TROLLING" an old forum i knew. And an old TROLL (hacker) knows the link to my forum. I cant say if it is true or not, for i cannot tell who you truly are. But if this has not went through any photoshop program, wich i can check, i cant say ywt. It looks tacky- yet legit.

I assure you, Gage, that I am no "hacker". Check my IP, and you'll see that I don't hide behind any proxies or pretend to be someone I'm not. I'm just as confused as you are right now, but if you know anything about this other person, you will be able to tell that I am not them.

that is not true. Skeptics will always have something else to say. "Its photoshopped" or "thats a hoax".... noone will become a believer from a photo. Its human nature.

Even for the skeptics it's food for thought.. I have to say that I myself am skeptical of this photo, even though I took it. There's usually a rational explanation, and I hope that we can eliminate any such explanations before we all decide that this is real or not. It could always be some sort of insect, I suppose.

An encounter? 2yujzh10

Here you can clearly see the ballet-like position it is in, the wings being see thrugh and the left leg looks like it is up in the air, making it balance on its right leg. (wich is also in the air....)

I'm not quite sure what to make of that.. There's still a possibility it's just some sort of insect that was hit with the light from the security light over the patio, making it appear to be glowing. There's always another possibility.

Looking at the outline, it could be some sort of dragonfly, I suppose. Though the image would have been distorted by the motion if that were the case, so.. I don't know.

Assuming this picture is genuine , I would have to say that these are NOT dragonflies or insects you caught on camera here. Nor are they fireflies.

Most insects don't glow look like this-- especially dragonflies. Fireflies will glow, but they are much much smaller and you don't see translucent wings near them.

I can see the wings, and YES, I've been told that many winged types of faeries do have dragonfly-like wings. In fact, the dragonfly is one fly they love to shapeshift into .

I can clearly see wings on each light. If these "lights" showed up on my photo, I would have no doubt they are Faeries.

Faeries and even spirits will often appear on digital camera more than older types of cameras. I was reading somewhere why this is.. but forgot the explanation. It has something to do with how the digital camera takes photos- that it captures more things because of the way it is designed.
